The essence
of Imagination:
"What we can easily see is only a small percentage of what is possible.
Imagination is having the vision to see what is just below the surface; to picture that which is essential, but invisible to the eye."
Time to break out of prison!
For those who waited so long for the untethered jailbreak for the A5 devices, the wait is finally over.
The “Dream Team” released today their new version of the Corona tool. According to pod2g’s blog, the installer called “Absinthe” is, for the moment, difficult to download due to the amount of desperate users trying to break free.
This update is currently available for Mac only (at least at the moment I’m posting this) and you can find more information by visiting the Dev Team’s blog. or download the tool at pod2g’s blog link (loading very slow due to the amount of visitors now)
Another great achievement and big thanks to @pod2g and members of the iPhone Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team!

The Yellow Flashlight will be joining the strike and all the websites under the umbrella of The Yellow Flashlight will be joining too.
Please excuse the interruption of these sites on January 18th, 2012 for 12 hours, as we will be joining the strike to blackout the web as a sign of protest against this ridiculous piece of proposed legislation. All traffic will be re-directed to the strike page.

Your notifications don’t show on your lock screen? Here is how I fixed it on my iPhone.
With apple’s new 5.0 iOS, we were promised to enjoy over 200 new features, including the ability to see the notifications on the lock screen when we are away from the phone and just by pressing any button to “wake up” the phone.
This is very useful for me when I want to check for missed calls or new emails without having to unlock the phone from sleep mode. Simply put, no notifications = no missed calls.
However, after putting all the setting the way it should be, I couldn’t get the notifications to show. They would still show if I pulled the notifications bar on top, but this is not what I wanted. So I began to check on the support forums and I even turned to YouTube to find what I was doing wrong, but on every site I visited, all I found was frustrated users who, like me, were giving up on it and thinking that apple dropped the ball.
Finally, I was able to get them working!
The problem is… I don’t know at what moment, so below I’m going to write the steps I took with the hopes of giving you a clue on how to fix it on your iPhone.
